As a 1099 contractor, you will lead or support CMMC assessments for clients on an as-needed basis, executing assessment tasks and delivering work products according to established methodologies.

Responsibilities
Execute assigned assessment tasks in accordance with the project Statement of Work (SOW) and our established CMMC assessment methodology
Perform hands-on assessment activities, including evidence review, interviews, and system configuration analysis
Contribute to the development of the final Assessment Plan and Assessment Report
Provide daily status updates to the engagement lead
Adhere strictly to the Cyber-AB Code of Professional Conduct
Deliver all work products (e.g., completed evidence checklists, interview notes, report contributions) by agreed-upon deadlines
Qualification
Required
Active Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA) certification from the Cyber-AB is mandatory
Verification of an active Tier 3 (or higher) U.S. Government security clearance is required prior to engagement
Proven track record of successfully conducting multiple NIST SP 800-171 and/or CMMC assessments
Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or a related field
