Responsibilities

State and federal environmental documentation (including NEPA preparation)

Socioeconomic analysis (including environmental justice)

Wetland delineations

Environmental Compliance

Stream assessments

Threatened and endangered species habitat evaluations and surveys

Clean Water Act Section 404/401 permitting

Periodic travel (including overnight) may be required when assisting with ﬁeld work, as needed

Assist in conducting environmental site investigations, assessments, and surveys to sample, evaluate and analyze terrestrial ecosystems including, but not limited to, riverine, wetland, and upland landscapes

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Environmental Planning or similar field

Effective written and oral communication skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time accordingly

Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others

Willingness to take on new challenges and learn more while working on these challenges

Willingness to work in challenging outdoor environments, including high temperatures and steep terrain

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
