Senior Manager, Sales Strategy, In-Store Commercialization - Walmart Connect

This role involves driving growth in Walmart’s advertising business by leading the in-store digital ads initiatives, managing advertiser eligibility, and collaborating across various teams to enhance the customer journey.

Responsibilities
Builds enterprise trust for Store Monetization by establishing guiding principles and paid content guidelines
Oversees the digital ads pipeline, including co-leading Stores WBR with the Experiential business partner; identifies business patterns and proposes strategies to drive growth
Ensures customer-centric ads and integrates WMC into Walmart Enterprise Store as a Media Channel strategy
Manages day-to-day advertiser eligibility and content creation for digital store ads, ensuring ads enhance the customer journey and align with enterprise standards
Manages third-party contacts (e.g., TILT) required to serve and create in-store ads
Partners with WMC Sales to ensure they have the tools and training needed to sell in-store digital products; provides white-glove service and creates/optimizes SOPs for sales
Upholds Walmart values, integrity, ethics, and compliance
Demonstrates curiosity, a growth mindset, and resilience; fosters learning and innovation
Uses a holistic, data-driven approach to strategic planning
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Business, Operations, or Psychology
7+ years of retail or advertising experience (preferably at a large organization in a highly cross functional role)
Knowledge of Microsoft Tools and Systems
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple domains
Preferred
Experience with Salesforce, Tableau, or other enterprise dashboard/data systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in and across large cross-functional organizations
Strong executive presence and cross functional collaboration skills
