Responsibilities
Serving as a finance business partner to BCG X leaders, providing analysis, insights, and advice across financial planning, case economics, and business performance
Conducting revenue and profitability analysis, identifying key performance drivers, and investigating project or portfolio variances
Supporting pipeline management and outlook tracking, ensuring accurate and timely reflection of wins, revenue projections, and risks
Contributing to the annual financial planning and quarterly forecasting process, providing scenario analyses and recommendations
Developing and evolving insightful management reporting to support strategic decision-making
Managing the financial aspects of client cases, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and variance analysis including reviewing contracts to ensure terms, risks, and billing details are captured and reported correctly
Collaborating closely with global BCG X Finance and regional BCG Core Finance teams to align on reporting standards and best practices
Supporting leadership with ad hoc analysis, presentations, and recommendations to drive operational and strategic outcomes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
2-4 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in professional services
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP, Business Objects, Tableau, Power BI, Power Query, Python is a plus
Comfort with complex data, financial modeling, and reporting tools
Understanding of core finance processes (budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and revenue recognition)
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions
