They are seeking a Content Design Specialist for North American Disaster Relief who will create instructional content for field-based training and support training initiatives for key partners, staff, and volunteers.

Responsibilities

Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ

Apply proven adult learning design principles to create instructional content using eLearning development software (including Articulate 360, Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva, Totara, and Adobe Creative Suite)

Facilitate learning management system administration and development

Work closely with the Training Team to support training initiatives for key partners, staff, and volunteers as needed

Follow policies and procedures of Samaritans Purse as set forth in the Policy Manual

Attend daily morning devotions and participate in prayer support for the ministry, donors, and volunteers

Maintain a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the general public

Required

Bachelors degree and 3-5 years of experience in content design and delivery industry; or equivalent combination of experience and education

Thorough knowledge of curriculum development theory

Thorough knowledge of curriculum development software

Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems or similar software systems

Application of customer relations skills

General knowledge of communication skills

General knowledge of technical writing skills

12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, the opportunity to meet and complete the requirement is available upon hire

Fluency in English (required)
