Program Coordinator-Patient Accounting-Dialysis Program
Children's National Hospital is seeking a Program Coordinator for their Dialysis Program. The coordinator will manage billing for dialysis services, oversee patient accounts, and provide administrative support for program activities and events.

Responsibilities
Accurately and efficiently billing for dialysis services, including hemodialysis, peritoneal, and home dialysis
Managing patient accounts and ensuring timely payment for services rendered
Creating and submitting claims, following up on unpaid accounts and denials, and maintaining detailed patient records
Playing a role in insurance verifications, authorizations, and resolving billing discrepancies
Providing administrative and program support to plan, implement and coordinate programs, events and educational activities
Administering policies and procedures as well as office management
Coordinating administrative tasks consistent with workload requirements and available resources
Participating in specified divisional operations and systems
Recommending and participating in development of new processes and systems to meet departmental needs
Training and mentoring new investigators and research staff on processes; assisting with determining work assignments, schedules and priorities; providing work guidance and overseeing the activities of one or more processes
Maintaining and processing employee time cards and attendance records
Participating in the development, monitoring, and reconciliation of operating and capital budgets; ensuring availability of data for management decision making
Coordinating the Activities of the Regulatory, faculty and staff meetings; preparing meeting documentation including teleconference; assigning and distributing review material; drafting minutes
Serving as a liaison with internal departments, investigators, and external collaborators and investigators; preparing and proofing complex administrative and contractual documents, correspondence, memoranda, letters, presentations and reports; providing support with project management activities
Assisting with updates to the website, maintaining mailing lists, file logs
Coordinating and scheduling office appointments, meetings and conferences with other CNMC departments, investigators
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
3 years Experience in program administration involving academic, medical or research activities to acquire skills necessary to plan, coordinate and implement a variety of program activities and events (Required)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experienced in department budget and personnel administration and communication
Computer Skills – Excel, Microsoft Word, Access, & PowerPoint
