Responsibilities
Introduce and explain the Level of Care Assessment (LOCA) process to clients
Collect demographic and historical information relevant to the LOCA
Explain and facilitate signatures for Releases of Information (ROI) and other admission paperwork
Communicate with a Licensed Counselor when clients are ready for the clinical portion of the LOCA
Gather information for and complete precertifications for managed care clients when applicable
Identify appropriate placement for clients based on assessment outcomes
Collaborate with therapists, admissions, and marketing teams to ensure smooth coordination and up-to-date scheduling
Participate in case consultations and interdisciplinary team discussions
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree from an accredited college in a recognized clinical discipline, including a clinical practicum
Licensure in a recognized clinical discipline (preferred) with mental health clinical experience
Strong clinical skills in mental health, substance use, and/or eating disorder treatment
Knowledge of HIPAA, Licensing, and CARF regulations
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving abilities, sound clinical judgment, and professionalism
Ability to remain calm and decisive in crisis situations and maintain a team-oriented approach
