Responsibilities
Provide support (and lead as needed) patent prosecution for multiple international IP portfolios
Analyze scientific references and advise regarding claim strategy
Track internal programs and developments, gather data, and advance portfolio growth
Collaborate with outside counsel in ensuring maximization of patent coverage
Review planned publications and disclosures
Support diligence and litigation
Qualification
Required
Degree in chemistry, pharmacology, or similar
USPTO Registration
Law firm and/or in-house experience
Ability to think strategically and operate within an agile company and team framework
Must possess a 'roll up your sleeves' attitude and be able to work seamlessly across the organization
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with demonstrated understanding of scientific concepts and ability to translate technical language into laymen's terms
