Responsibilities

Assess existing capabilities, identify potential approaches to increase DevOps adoption and convert applications into cloud environments as needed

Analyze capabilities to identify data migration, software modification, legal, security, and compliance requirements associated with the cloud conversion

Engage in the design, development, and testing of software changes required for converting capabilities, adhering to the approach selected by the Government

Develop, test, and coordinate a deployment plan to implement changes seamlessly into the cloud environment

Leverage cloud experience to ensure a smooth integration of modified capabilities into cloud environments, optimizing performance and resource utilization

Required

TS/SCI with Polygraph

A bachelor's degree in IT and six (6) years of experience in software development/engineering. Four (4) additional years of software development experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree

Four (4) years' experience with cloud technologies

Experience managing and optimizing DevOps practices within a project or organization

In-depth understanding of DevOps principles, tools, and methodologies, with a focus on driving efficiency and continuous improvement

Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning

Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) processes for automation

Experience with Java and JavaScript

Experience developing and updating technical documentation

Experience with agile development methodologies
