Responsibilities

Conduct market research in collaboration with marketing and planning teams to identify growth opportunities, underserved areas, and emerging trends in home health and hospice care
Develop and implement strategies to expand into new geographies and deepen market penetration in existing locations
Collaborate with community liaisons or business development professionals to align divisional strategies with system strategies
Act as the primary liaison between referral sources and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination
Maintain and expand the customer base by building and sustaining rapport with key consumers and identifying new business opportunities
Monitor and report on the cost-effectiveness of business development efforts and ensure alignment with organizational objectives
Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to align business development with patient care delivery
Travel regularly to meet with stakeholders, attend industry events, and oversee business development initiatives in various regions
Consults and collaborates with service line directors, administrators, senior management and medical staff leadership in planning to meet system goals and objectives and to ensure continuity and quality of patient care
Provides operational support to service lines with any Certificate of Need completions, assist in the hiring of staff required to support service line growth. Provide support as needed
Analyze industry trends, competitor performance, and internal capabilities to inform strategic decisions
Establish and track KPIs related to growth, referral patterns, admissions, market penetration, and patient outcomes
Leads the intake teams for HH, Hospice and PACE ensuring census growth that supports a positive patient experience and high team member engagement
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Master's Degree - MBA, MHA, MPH or similar
5 years of leadership experience in home health, hospice, or related healthcare services
Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)
Proficient computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, database)
Strong strategic planning, financial modeling, and market analysis capabilities
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
Travel to local and regional sites, partner meetings, or industry conferences as needed

Preferred

In lieu of the education and experience noted above, a Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of leadership experience in home health, hospice, or related healthcare services may be accepted
