Responsibilities
Research, selection and documentation of mechanical parts like: machined parts & assemblies, cases, computer racks, electronic chassis, gaskets, motors, gears, fans, environmental control units, test equipment, tools, trailers, etc
Work with CAD tools and create drawings and figures
Work within PLM tool and manage large quantities of diverse types of mechanical parts and assemblies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
Applicants must be self-motivated and willing to work within company defined processes
Good written, verbal, and presentation skills
Familiarity with mechanical CAD tools (experience with NX is a plus)
Familiarity with reading and creating mechanical and electrical drawings
Familiarity with tolerances and manufacturing terminology and processes
Ability to obtain security clearance (US Citizenship, clear criminal background)
Ability to travel 10%
Preferred
Familiarity with Teamcenter PLM tool
Experience with NX CAD tool
