Entry, Mid LevelKoch Finishing Systems is a global leader in automated finishing systems, and they are seeking a Mechanical Designer to deliver high-quality mechanical designs for plating and anodizing systems. This role involves translating conceptual ideas into detailed, manufacturable solutions while ensuring compliance with customer requirements and engineering standards.

Responsibilities
Perform full mechanical system design using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor, including layouts, floor plans, detailed components, piping diagrams, and installation drawings
Ensure all designs comply with customer specifications, engineering standards, and safety requirements
Prepare sales drawings and conceptual layouts to support the Sales team
Design standard and custom polypro plating barrels and stainless-steel phosphate barrels; maintain standard barrel drawings
Support installation, start-up, troubleshooting, and follow-up activities at customer sites
Recommend improvements to mechanical designs and stay current with AutoCAD and Inventor features
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Collaborate effectively with engineers, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs
Qualification
Required
Experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor required
Proficiency in mechanical system design for industrial equipment
Expertise in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design, or related field preferred
Prior experience in industrial equipment or system design preferred
