Responsibilities

Conduct insurance market research to understand how Towerstone fits within the broader insurance space, including wholesale functions and underwriting roles

Shadow underwriters to learn the full underwriting process and assist with marketing, cold calling, and outreach activities

Support agency relationship-building through agency visits, networking opportunities, and participation in local industry events

Create marketing materials such as carrier flyers and assist with organizing internal call lists and campaign setup through Levitate

Collaborate with team members on underwriting, marketing, and research tasks to strengthen industry knowledge and operational proficiency

Required

Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in a program related to one of our host departments (Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management and Insurance)

An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to problem-solve, think critically, and provide creative solutions

Preferred

Students anticipated to graduate in Spring 2026, December 2026, or Spring 2027

Interest in insurance-related roles; involvement in insurance clubs or Gamma Iota Sigma

Previous work or internship experience in a professional services or similar environment
