Meriplex is seeking a seasoned Network Monitoring Engineer to take high-impact ownership of enterprise monitoring platforms. The role involves administering LogicMonitor, designing monitoring solutions, and leading implementations while mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

Own and administer LogicMonitor (this is a core requirement)—including integrations, dashboards, alerting, reporting, and ongoing optimization

Administer and support PRTG and integrate monitoring tools across client environments

Design and improve monitoring for UCaaS/VoIP, SD-WAN, firewalls, routing, switching, wireless, Microsoft, and VMware

Identify opportunities for automation and smarter alerting to reduce noise and improve MTTR

Lead monitoring implementations for new clients, from assessment through validation

Partner with Professional Services and Support teams to design monitoring solutions

Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership

Support Managed Services Operations Center requests and participate in scheduled/on-call rotations

Ensure monitoring aligns to SLAs, customer expectations, and renewal success

Required

7+ years of professional IT / network engineering experience

Hands-on administration of LogicMonitor (required) If you have not administered LogicMonitor in production environments, this role is not a fit

Experience with SD-WAN solutions

Strong background with routers, switches, wireless, and firewall technologies

Experience supporting multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Meraki, Juniper, Fortinet, Velocloud, Microsoft, VMware)

Familiarity with SNMP, WMI, NetFlow, and related monitoring protocols

Preferred

Custom LogicModule development

API-based integrations and monitoring automation

UCaaS / VoIP platform experience

Networking, Microsoft, or VMware certifications
