Responsibilities

Install and maintain alarm/ low voltage systems at sites

Install and maintain internet communications at sites

Perform preventative maintenance of these systems at sites

Communicate and collaborate with other field technicians

Communicate and collaborate with sites and end users

Maintain ticket system queue in timely manner

Acting in solving problems while exhibiting judgement and a systematic approach to decision making

Identifying the important dimensions of a problem, determining potential causes, obtain relevant information, and specify alternate solutions that result in effectiveness

Required

2+ years of successful related experience

Low Voltage systems

Digital Multi-meters

Basic knowledge of electrical components such as breakers, relays, switches, and other control devices

Basic knowledge in network devices Network point to point devices, modems, cameras, switches, routers, and UPS systems

Basic knowledge needed to install, replace and troubleshoot fleet GPS tracking units

Ability to utilize Microsoft office, specifically Excel and Word

Willingness to train on use of underground wiring locater and trencher for the installation of underground wire
