Responsibilities

Developing and implementing a comprehensive business and go-to-market strategy for the Nutrition division
Identifying and pursuing new market opportunities — including new customer segments, geographies, and distribution channels (distributors, direct accounts, international expansion)
Leading annual, quarterly, and monthly business planning, forecasting, and P&L oversight
Evaluating and deciding on product portfolio mix, pricing strategy, and partnership plans
Building, leading, and inspiring a robust sales organization; defining territories, quotas, and performance metrics
Overseeing key accounts, distributor relationships, and strategic partnerships; leading contract negotiations and major deals
Collaborating with supply chain, quality, product development, and marketing teams to ensure alignment of product positioning, regulatory compliance, and go-to-market execution
Monitoring market trends, competitor actions, customer feedback, and distributor survey data
Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and developing account managers, and support staff
Creating and implementing performance management systems: set goals, track KPIs, evaluate performance, coach and mentor staff for growth and development
Developing talent pipelines, succession plans, and training strategies to build a high-performing, scalable sales force
Fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, professional development, and results-oriented execution
Participating actively as a member of the leadership team; contributing to corporate strategic planning and long-term growth initiatives
Working closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Marketing to ensure integrated execution across the value chain
Representing the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and with key external stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, safety/quality standards, and distribution regulations (e.g. FDA or other regulatory bodies, where applicable)
Overseeing risk assessment for new product lines, market entry, investments, and partnerships; develop mitigation plans

Required

BS or MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field preferred; MBA or equivalent advanced business education also preferred
Minimum 15 years' progressive experience in nutraceuticals, specialty ingredients, chemicals, or related distribution/industrial ingredients industry; with significant exposure to B2B distribution and ingredient markets
Proven track record in sales leadership with full P&L responsibility, strategic planning, and executing profitable growth — ideally with demonstrated success in ingredient distribution of nutraceuticals
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, supply-chain dynamics, and global distribution networks
Excellent strategic thinking, analytical skills, financial acumen, and data-driven decision-making capability
Exceptional leadership presence – ability to build vision, inspire and motivate teams, and lead cross-functional execution
Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills — with clients, distributors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and internal teams
Entrepreneurial mindset; results-oriented, decisive, accountable, and willing to “lead from the front.”
Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and mentor high-performing teams; experience with talent pipeline development and organizational scaling
