IMA Financial Group is seeking interns for their Summer 2026 program, offering a unique opportunity to gain experience in a values-driven culture. Interns will engage in both shadowing and project-based work that supports various functions within the company, contributing to real-world impact for clients and the agency.

Responsibilities

Split time between field shadowing with producers, managers, and other employees (50%) and completing project-based work that supports sales, service, and risk management functions (50%)

Assist across Personal, Commercial, and Benefits lines by conducting database cleanup and organizing accurate client information

Develop and support cross-sell initiatives by identifying target clients and creating outreach strategies

Contribute to marketing efforts such as postcard campaigns for personal lines clients and targeted lists for luxury homeowners

Engage in prospective and direct outreach to help generate new business opportunities and strengthen client relationships

Attend department and carrier meetings to learn more about the day-to-day functions of the agency and the relationships that support its operation

Required

Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in a program related to one of our host departments (Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management and Insurance)

Interest in insurance-related roles; involvement in insurance clubs or Gamma Iota Sigma

Students anticipated to graduate in Spring 2026, December 2026, or Spring 2027

Previous work or internship experience in a professional services or similar environment

An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to problem-solve, think critically, and provide creative solutions
