Responsibilities
Support Federal Aviation Administration's Air Traffic Control systems by providing simulation and scenario expertise at the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC)
Support laboratory infrastructure and scenario development and testing for the EnRoute and Datacomm Programs
Works with close supervision
Performs technical tasks associated with the implementation of standards, techniques, procedures, and criteria
Attends meetings, design reviews, and working groups
Reports issues/problems and recommends solutions
Performs other related duties as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Linux/UNIX experience
Familiar with Unix/Linux operating systems
Software programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Java, SQL) is required
Excellent Communications and Presentation skills
Willing to work occasional shift work to accommodate testing and field support tasks
Willing to travel
