Member Service Center Analyst
Texas Municipal Retirement System (TMRS) is a trusted partner to more than 940 cities across Texas, providing retirement, disability, and survivor benefits to over 260,000 public servants and their families. They are seeking a Member Service Center Analyst to provide exceptional customer support by answering inbound calls related to retirement benefit options and processing requests for benefit information.

Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer support and respond to information requests; answer questions and provide detailed information on benefits, eligibility, taxes or penalties, applications and other related account and benefit information
Validate caller identity by interviewing Members and verifying account information
Track interactions with callers through various means and systems
Provide written and oral confirmation of benefit payments
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
Excellent customer service acumen
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of Microsoft Office suite
Ability to handle high call volume and react effectively and calmly
Process driven with the ability to follow standard operating procedures
Attention to detail
Problem-solving skills
Skill in reviewing documentation and properly applying laws, regulations, rules, and policies
Preferred
Associate or Bachelor's degree
Two years related experience preferably in a call center, pension, benefit administration or retirement related work
