Rockland Trust is currently seeking a seasonal part-time Trust Tax Administrative Assistant for the upcoming tax season. The individual will assist Trust Tax Officers with filing, copying, and organizing tax documents, while also managing various projects as needed.

Responsibilities

Copying, scanning and organizing tax returns and related tax documents into our electronic database
Prepare correspondence and letters
Putting together mailings for correspondence and tax returns to clients/tax authorities
Assist in maintaining databases and spreadsheets to be current and accurate

Qualification

Adobe Acrobat DCMicrosoft WordMicrosoft ExcelTax document knowledgeAttention to detailIndependent workCommunication skills

Required

High school degree or equivalent is required
Proficient with all Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail with precise follow-through
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Calm under pressure with a common sense and flexible approach to situations
Flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods of tax season
Professional and strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Associate's degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred
Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat DC is a plus
Prior tax-related experience is preferred
