Responsibilities
Lead and manage continuous improvement projects to optimize manufacturing processes
Conduct thorough analysis of current operations to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
Collaborate with MCG to implement lean manufacturing tools and techniques to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency
Partner with MCG and Center of Excellence leadership to plan, execute, and monitor continuous improvement projects, ensuring timely completion and achievement of objectives
Utilize statistical tools and software to analyze process data, identify trends, and drive data-driven decision-making
Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and develop effective solutions to prevent recurrence
Communicate improvement plans and progress to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and support for initiatives
Provide leadership and guidance to teams, fostering a collaborative environment and training on continuous improvement tools
Manage change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new processes and practices
Ensure compliance with quality management systems and standards, maintaining high levels of product quality
Drive operational excellence initiatives, achieving measurable improvements in performance and efficiency
Ensure all improvement activities comply with industry-specific regulations and standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on continuous improvement
In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, including waste reduction, process optimization, and continuous flow
Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies
Experience in driving operational excellence initiatives and achieving measurable improvements in performance
Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing improvement projects
Expertise in lean principles and tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Kanban
Proficiency in Six Sigma methodologies, including DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) and statistical analysis
Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring of improvement projects
Advanced problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
Ability to analyze data using statistical tools and software to drive decision-making
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and influence stakeholders
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide teams towards achieving continuous improvement goals
Experience in managing change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
