Telemundo Nashville, operated within WSMV 4, is seeking a bilingual newscast producer who can connect with Middle Tennessee’s growing Spanish-language community and deliver impactful content while managing breaking news situations.

Responsibilities
Craft a compelling, daily newscast with high production value and a sense of urgency
Co-ordinate on-air news coverage with anchor, reporters, managers, and other news staff
Gather accurate information through various sources
Contribute to Telemundo Nashville's multi-media efforts
Interact with viewers and users on social media sites
Qualification
Required
Previous experience producing television newscasts or news content, preferably in a Spanish-language newsroom
Strong news judgment, excellent writing skills, and an understanding of issues relevant to Middle Tennessee's Spanish-language community
Proven ability to work under pressure and manage breaking news situations
Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments and manage several tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of newsroom systems, production workflows, and digital platforms
Fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken, and an understanding of differences in how Spanish is spoken in Mexico and the rest of Latin America
