Responsibilities

Lead with confidence: Direct construction engineering administration and inspection programs
Drive success: Plan and organize team workflows; develop and refine project-specific policies, methods, and procedures
Ensure excellence: Review programs for compliance with client standards and deliver top-tier results
Shape the future: Identify and pursue new opportunities while fostering strong client partnerships for ongoing and future projects
Be the expert: Prepare proposals and cost estimates, review technical work and reports, and provide guidance to team members
Own the outcome: Manage projects to meet schedules and budgets, with periodic site visits to ensure everything is on track

Qualification

Civil Engineering degreeRegistered Professional EngineerMajor RoadBridge ConstructionFDOT PoliciesProceduresFDOT Advanced MOT CertificationCTQP Quality Control Manager

Required

Civil Engineering degree
Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida
6 years of progressive experience in Major Road and Bridge Construction
Familiarity with FDOT Policies and Procedures, (District 3 is a plus)
FDOT Advanced MOT Certification
Attend the CTQP Quality Control Manager course and pass the examination
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment
If applicable to the position, a post offer fit for duty evaluation to ensure the individual can safely perform the essential functions of the role
Valid driver's license
A satisfactory motor vehicle (MVR)
