Responsibilities
Provides strategic and operational leadership for provider recruitment and credentialing functions
Ensures the effective attraction, hiring, onboarding and privileging of physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) across the system
Oversees a team of recruitment and credentialing professionals responsible for building and maintaining a high-performing, compliant and mission-aligned provider workforce
Partners closely with operational leaders, physician enterprise executives, and human resources to develop strategies that support growth, access, and service line priorities
Ensures that provider experience from candidate outreach to credentialing completion is efficient, engaging and aligned with organizational goals and regulatory standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Over 10 years Progressive Leadership Experience in Provider or Physician Recruitment Required
Over 5 years Experience overseeing credentialing and privileging in a healthcare system or multi-specialty Required
Over 5 years Senior Management Experience Required
Over 5 years Strong Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements/credentialing compliance standards Required
Over 5 years Success building high-performing teams/driving process improvement in recruitment Required
Preferred
Master's Degree
Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (AESC) Preferred
ASPR Associate Certification (AASPR) Preferred
