Assistant Director
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is seeking an Assistant Director for the Global Experiences Office. This role involves supporting the Director in developing policies and coordinating programs abroad, with a significant focus on marketing and outreach activities on campus.

Responsibilities
Reviewing policies and procedures of the office
Coordinating outreach activities for students and campus partners, including the annual GEO Fair
Developing strong relationships with our bilateral exchange program partners
Qualification
Required
Master's degree plus two (2) years of experience in a study abroad office, student affairs office, international education organization, or non-profit focused on global learning
Experience supporting students or advising students
Experience studying, living, working or volunteering abroad
Experience in marketing, event planning, or outreach in some capacity
Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Excel
Evidence of attention to detail
Preferred
Experience developing and administering short-term study abroad programs strongly preferred
Experience administrating budgets and contracts
Experience working within different student-based operating systems
Commitment to diverse pathways for learning and demonstrated commitment to successfully supporting students of all backgrounds
Knowledge of theory and practice in areas such as student development, experiential learning, curriculum design, and intercultural communication
