The role involves roadway design for ODOT and Local Public Agency clients, creating and reviewing project documents, and providing leadership within the Transportation Team. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for remote or hybrid work.
Consulting
Responsibilities
Roadway design for ODOT and Local Public Agency (LPA) clients
Creates and reviews project design calculations, quantity takeoffs, specifications, plans, and contract documents
Works within the Transportation Team assigning responsibilities
Works within project schedules and budgets
Applies ODOT design manual and AASHTO principles to highway design
Utilizes roadway design CADD software
May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group
Occasional travel to client meetings and site visits with possible overnight stays (up to 10% of the time)
Qualification
Required
Bachelors
Bachelors or better in Engineering or related field
18 years: Related experience
Professional Engineer
Driver's License
Preferred
Masters
