The incumbent is a member of the healthcare team who is accountable for patient care supportive services for the Family Birth Center under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse

May have access to or be required to distribute drugs, needles or syringes from storage locations, (such as large stock supplies, automated dispensing units and other carts) to/within patient care areas or treatment carts as defined by hospital policy/procedure

Qualification

OR/OB Scrub experiencePerinatal Tech experienceBasic Life SupportComputerized documentation

Required

Two (2) years OR/OB Scrub/Perinatal Tech experience

Basic Life Support from AHA

Demonstrated competence with the computerized documentation system
