Responsibilities
Perform tasks and project assignments associated with environmental assessments, hydrogeological studies, subsurface investigations and remedial designs, and monitoring projects
All manner of field work, including soil and groundwater sample collection and sample preparation for laboratory analysis
Project deliverables including the preparation of soil boring logs, well construction diagrams, potentiometric surface maps, geologic cross sections, site sample and plume maps, work plans and reports
Working collaboratively with project management and field staff
Laboratory and hydrogeologic data management
Permit management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in geology, engineering or science-related field
0-3 years of environmental geology experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail-oriented and troubleshooting/problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Preferred
OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
