The Printing Press Assistant will be responsible for preparing orders, packaging finished products, monitoring quality, and assisting the Press Operator as needed.

Responsibilities
Follow quality requirements to meet or exceed expectations
Prepares for upcoming orders
Packages/wraps finished rolls
Monitors viscosities and completes PH forms
Finds ink on specification sheet and disperses
Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product
Ability to fill-in for the Press Operator job when necessary
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to perform each essential job function satisfactorily
Follow quality requirements to meet or exceed expectations
Prepares for upcoming orders
Packages/wraps finished rolls
Monitors viscosities and completes PH forms
Finds ink on specification sheet and disperses
Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product
Ability to fill-in for the Press Operator job when necessary
Frequent positioning or moving up to 25 - 50 pounds
Lifting or moving items weighing greater than 50 pounds requires the use of lifting equipment or co-worker assistance
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and ability to see appropriate colors
