Responsibilities

Works as a member of a cohesive team while demonstrating ability to work without direct supervision
Cleans and maintains job site, tools, and vehicles
Maintains compliance with all FRA, OSHA, Faith Technologies, and customer-specific safety requirements along with immediately identifying, correcting, and/or reporting any unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents in a timely manner
Ability to properly perform Monthly, Quarterly, Annual inspections without direct supervision
Displays basic railroad signal troubleshooting skills
Verifies basic site information against circuit plans
Reads and understands Railroad Timetable document
Properly uses Signal Technician test equipment & required tools
Complies with and understands Signalman Hours of Service regulations
Actively participates in railroad designated PPE requirements
Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Required

High School Diploma or GED
2-5 years Railroad Signal Maintenance
Successful completion of Hot Box and Signal Apprentice Training Program through Signal Training Solutions or prior experience required
Ability to travel up to 100%
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work as a member of a cohesive team while demonstrating ability to work without direct supervision
Ability to properly perform Monthly, Quarterly, Annual inspections without direct supervision
Displays basic railroad signal troubleshooting skills
Verifies basic site information against circuit plans
Reads and understands Railroad Timetable document
Properly uses Signal Technician test equipment & required tools
Complies with and understands Signalman Hours of Service regulations
Actively participates in railroad designated PPE requirements

Preferred

Experience maintaining, servicing, installing, troubleshooting signal system circuitry and components
