They are seeking a Paid Mechanical Engineering Student Intern to perform basic mechanical engineering assignments, prepare engineering documents, and collaborate with project teams to solve design problems.

Responsibilities

Perform basic mechanical engineering assignments with oversight and direction from a staff mentor or professional engineer

Prepare and modify engineering documents with instructions by utilizing CAD/Revit

Collaborate with project team to solve technical and design problems in line with SMRT standards

Prepare 2D/3D presentations and design drawings

Attend client meetings and/or site visits alongside project staff

Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure quality and consistency across mechanical engineering deliverables

Contribute to the intern project and team initiatives

Qualification

Mechanical EngineeringCAD/RevitAnalytical mindsetEngineering softwareCommunication skills

Required

Currently enrolled in an Bachelor of Science or Master in Mechanical Engineering degree program

Analytical mindset and attention to detail

Strong communication skills

Preferred

Familiarity with engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) a plus
