Responsibilities

Coordinate with design development and manage construction documentation for retail, F&B, and hospitality (Retail) projects

Translate brand standards and design intent into functional, buildable architectural solutions

Develop detailed construction drawings, millwork packages, and finish schedules

Coordinate with MEP, structural, and specialty consultants to ensure design integration and technical accuracy

Work directly with our design team, clients, operators, and vendors to review drawings, materials, and specifications

Complete site surveys, as-built documentation, and field verification

Review shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with design intent

Support our construction project managers with schedules coordination, budgets and design intent

Participate in construction administration, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and performing site visits as needed

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials, lighting, and FF&E relevant to the retail and hospitality industries

Required

Associate's degree in architecture, Interior Architecture, or a related field (architecture license not required)

10+ years of professional experience in architecture & design collaboration, with a strong focus on retail, restaurant, and hospitality projects

Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite & Procore

Strong understanding of construction methods, detailing, and code compliance for commercial environments

Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, clients, and consultants

Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills

Ability to handle multiple projects in various stages of development simultaneously

Preferred

Experience with large multi-site project rollouts, prototype development, code compliance for commercial environments, sustainable design strategies and ADA compliance

Knowledge of lighting integration, signage, and environmental graphics

Experience working with vendors and fabricators on custom millwork and fixture design
