Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering

Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
Specialization in one or more of the following areas: Sustainable Power and Energy system analysis, planning, and optimization; Transmission Systems, Distribution Systems, and/or (Next-Generation) Grid Resilience; Design and control of voltage distribution systems and Networked Microgrids; Fundamentals of Wide Bandgap Semiconductor-based Power Converters and their application in advanced distribution systems
Demonstrated ability to establish a program of externally funded collaborative research
Strong commitment to student-centered teaching and mentoring
Ability to teach general electrical and computer engineering courses
Engagement in university and professional service
