Junior Field Services Engineer

Responsibilities

Maintain, repair, and install industrial x-ray systems and supporting peripheral equipment, such as: X-ray tubes, generators, coolers, scanners, stepper motors/controllers, power supplies, high voltage control circuits, motion control and high-end PC’s
Providing customers with technical support via phone and onsite service
Providing timely completion of standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements
Being responsible for driving customer satisfaction from commitment through quality service standards
Monitoring site safety during work scope execution

Required

Possess a two-year technical degree (AEET, AMET) and at least 4 years of previous experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment OR Possess a four-year technical degree in Electronics (BSEET, BSEE) or Mechanics (BSMET, BSME)
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Candidate must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example: verification of past employment, criminal history, driving record and educational background
Be able to travel up to 70% of the time for work
Possess a valid driver's license and passport (or able to obtain a passport)
Must currently hold valid US citizenship status
