Sr. Solution Architect- security

MegazoneCloud is looking for a passionate Senior Cloud Solutions Architect (Presales) who contributes to building their business with customers. This role is responsible for designing cloud-based solutions that address customer needs and supporting the sales cycle while leading short-term consulting engagements.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical strategy and execution during the Presales phase
Drive alignment between client needs, sales goals, and technical feasibility
Conduct discovery sessions and technical workshops with prospects
Lead short-term consulting/PoC projects to assess/prove, and clarify client requirements, expectations, and constraints
Contribute to technical sections of proposals, RFPs, and statements of work
Estimate resources, costs, and timelines for proposed solutions
Design cloud-native and/or hybrid architectures using cloud platforms, such as AWS (Must Have), Azure, or GCP
Develop detailed solution designs, including infrastructure, security, and integration components
Develop detailed solution designs for the clients’ modernization and AI requirements
Deliver compelling presentations and solution demonstrations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Stay updated on cloud trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape
Recommend innovative solutions that align with customer goals and company strategy
Work closely with delivery teams and specialty architects to ensure the right solutions are developed, a smooth handover, and implementation
Provide ongoing technical support during the sales cycle

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or any equivalent
10+ years of professional work experience related to Pre-sales, Technology Consulting, or Tech Sales positions in the Cloud Computing area
5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud computing, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
3+ years of experience with AWS in professional work experience
Strong experience with cloud-based architectures, including infrastructure, containerization, microservices, and serverless computing
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Professional level of Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional)
Proven experience in leading short-term consulting engagements
Ability to quickly assess client environments and deliver clear, actionable recommendations
Ability to cope under pressure and prioritize work accordingly
Ability to work independently and proactively
Proven experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions architect role, preferably in the technology or cloud computing industry

Preferred

Track record of meeting and exceeding established business goals
Passion for working in a fast-paced, changing, but highly collaborative team environment
Experience in Project/Program management
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IAC) tools such as Terraform or other equivalents
Familiarity with various programming languages and scripting (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js) is a plus
Familiarity with Key ISV solutions
Familiarity with industry-specific challenges and regulatory environments in sectors such as Automotive, Healthcare, Finance, Retail, or Manufacturing
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing customer requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Strong desire for personal development and learning
