Equipment Fleet Specialist - East Knoxville
Stowers Machinery Corporation is seeking an Equipment Fleet Specialist to enhance customer experience and manage equipment handling in their outdoor yard environment. The role involves greeting customers, managing machine prep, and maintaining yard safety and organization.

Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly upon arrival and maintain a friendly, calm, and attentive demeanor
Communicate clearly and proactively regarding machine prep status and timing
Ensure all required customer paperwork is signed, recorded, and stored appropriately
Receive, barcode, and reposition new and used machines as needed
Remove customer stickers from used equipment
Hook up hydro-mechanical work tools to verify functionality prior to delivery
Stage machines for customer pickup, shift preps, and nightly parts trucks—within 30 minutes of internal notification
Perform weekly inventory scans and reconciliations
Complete shipping/receiving records in DBS
Document equipment arrival and departure in Record360 with sufficient photos
Send photos of received used machines to the Used CCE Sales Manager
Keep the yard clean and organized; wash dirty machines and attachments proactively
Conduct daily yard walks to check for open doors, misplaced equipment, damage, or safety concerns
Respond promptly to phone calls and text messages
Maintain clear communication with internal teams to support smooth operations

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Must be able to pass background check, physical exam and drug screening test
Preferred
Prior experience in yard operations, equipment handling, or a related field preferred; familiarity with construction or heavy equipment is a plus
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently
Effective communication skills and comfort using mobile apps/systems (e.g., Record360, DBS) for documentation and coordination
