Responsibilities
Track and analyze the Prepaid Expense function from initial recording of related invoices through monthly amortization in accordance with proper recognition timing
AP accrual process of recording expenses that have been incurred but not yet billed by the company monthly
Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, and record related journal entries, all while maintaining proper internal control documentation
Support the Senior Manager of Accounting with special projects, process improvements and audit requests as needed
Qualification
Required
2+ years of accounting experience within a fast-moving GL close cycle
CPA or CPA eligible track
Strong skills in the Microsoft suite; strong proficiency in Excel including pivot tables; NetSuite and Concur experience a plus
Knowledge of basic accounting principles, practices, procedures, and internal controls accounting
Preferred
Self-starter with a can-do attitude and ability to lead with sense of urgency
Ability to professionally communicate both internally and externally with individuals at all levels of an organization, including senior leadership
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting; flexible, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced business environment
