Fin is a next-generation payments platform focused on high-value, global transactions, and is seeking a Compliance Lead to establish a robust compliance program. This role will involve developing compliance strategies, managing risk, and serving as the subject matter expert on compliance issues in the evolving regulatory landscape of digital assets and blockchain.

Implementing a best-in-class compliance program

Ensuring adherence to international, federal, and state regulations

Proactively managing risk by establishing effective controls

Defining the company’s compliance framework

Developing policies, risk assessment procedures, and training initiatives

Overseeing day-to-day compliance efforts

Serving as the authority for new and arising compliance challenges

Developing compliance strategies to help foster company growth

Serving as the subject matter expert on compliance risk factors and mitigation best practices

Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on compliance issues

Required

Prior fintech/banking leadership experience in a compliance role, with experience building a compliance program from the ground up

Extensive understanding of regulatory compliance (BSA/AML/KYC/KYB/Sanctions/etc.) and experience in developing strategies to meet compliance requirements

Comprehensive understanding of payments and associated domestic/international compliance requirements (MSB/MTL/VASP/etc.)

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present compliance risks/requirements that impact broader organizational goals

Comfort with communicating with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, legal, etc
