Responsibilities

Engage with operations and business stakeholders to capture functional and non-functional requirements

Translate complex business processes into clear specifications for technology teams

Act as SME for middle and back office workflows: trade confirmation, matching, reconciliation, clearing, and settlement

Provide guidance on industry best practices and regulatory requirements

Collaborate with architects and developers to design scalable, efficient solutions

Validate functional designs and ensure alignment with business objectives

Serve as the primary liaison between business, operations, and technology teams

Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to senior stakeholders

Define test cases and support UAT for critical workflows

Ensure solutions meet operational and compliance standards

Work with third-party vendors (e.g., Murex, Calypso) for system enhancements and integrations

Required

10+ years as a Business Analyst in investment banking or financial services

Strong exposure to middle and back office processes and systems

Expertise in trade lifecycle, confirmation, matching, reconciliation, clearing, and settlement

Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in capital markets

Ability to work with data models, SQL for analysis, and understand system integrations

Knowledge of vendor platforms (Murex, Calypso) is advantageous

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field

Preferred

Experience with vendor platforms such as Murex, Ion, FIS or Calypso is a plus but not mandatory

Certifications such as CFA, FRM, or Agile BA are a plus
