Responsibilities

Establish and monitor packaging material inventory optimization processes
Responsible for establishing sustainable Inventory Control practices at the warehouses
Assist with Inventory Management processes such as cycle counting and inventory optimization projects
Support the RMA processing during busy periods
Assist with receiving and put away activities during busy periods
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) throughout receiving, RMA processing, and warehousing cycles to ensure that all assignments are completed according to the schedule
Responsible for training new team members
Assist with directing department’s personnel
Responsible for fulfilling manufacturing and/or engineering requests to help ensure company’s requirements and goals are achieved
Ensure that safety and quality considerations and requirements are proactively addressed and implemented
Promote an environment conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and effectiveness
Assist with order fulfillment functions, including picking, packing, and shipping when needed

Required

High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years professionally related experience
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work a physically active position with frequent climbing of ladders, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
Experience in a heavily documented and controlled production process environment
Good written and verbal communication skills, with all levels of employees, suppliers, and customers
Experience with safety and health, OSHA, FDA and ISO 9001 quality system requirements
Forklift and pallet jack operation experience
Experience working with ERP systems
Must be proficient with MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel)
Must possess a valid driver's license and safe driving record
To qualify for this position, candidates must be able to furnish proof that they are authorized to work in the country they are applying on a permanent basis without sponsorship

Preferred

Associates degree in related field and previous leadership training/development
