The CNC Machine Tool Application Engineer will work closely with the Sales team to provide technical support and ensure customer satisfaction through evaluating manufacturing processes and recommending solutions.

Responsibilities
Evaluating manufacturing processes and recommending industry-leading solutions
Developing and testing alternative processing methods
Performing time studies for process improvement recommendations
Overseeing machine installations
Conducting research and assisting in presenting proposals to customers
Performing on-site programming and machine operation training for customers
Facilitating customer demonstrations by setting up and programming machine tools
Qualification
Required
Ability to demonstrate knowledge and application of machine tool products, options and functions
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
Excellent interpersonal skills, such as collaboration, listening, respect and work ethic, which lead to lasting and trusting relationships with team members and customers
Ability to work collaboratively with sales team to provide customer solutions
Preferred
Two-year degree in manufacturing engineering
Experience in machining process development, project management and CNC programming
Okuma machine programming experience
