Contracts Assistant
Simon & Schuster is a global leader in general interest publishing, and they are seeking a Contracts Assistant to support the Contracts Department. This role involves managing contract data entry, ensuring efficient workflow, and collaborating with various departments across the company.

Responsibilities
Enter new acquisition contracts into our databases, consulting with the Contracts Coordinator for complex cases
Manage changes to existing contracts, including collecting and processing necessary paperwork
Provide support to expedite processes and enhance departmental efficiency
Use Excel and our company databases to track and log contract details
Clarify contract terms to other departments upon request
Assist with contract-related research projects and other ad-hoc tasks as required
Qualification
Required
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and management
Technically adept, with proficiency in MS Office Suite
Excellent organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills
Self-motivated and able to excel in a collaborative environment
Adaptable and open-minded towards evolving job responsibilities
Positive attitude and proactive problem-solving approach
Preferred
familiarity with contract management systems
