Product Management Business Analyst - Master Reference Data

Responsibilities
Analyze current state of data capability to define future state modernized or enhanced business processes
Refine and clearly document scope of project deliverables (functional and non-functional)
Develop functional business requirements in collaboration with Product Management and Business Lines
Work with Application Development (AD) to further refine requirements that have been captured and ensure story meets the definition of done
Proficient in data analysis and visualization, business intelligence tools, API integration, cloud computing, as well as databases and SQL
Be able to operate successfully with a core technical team
Organize business and functional requirements into Epic’s and groomed stories and maintain the product backlog in collaboration with the product owner
Participate as a core member of one or more agile squads, including attending daily stand-up, grooming sessions and other agile ceremonies, documenting user stories
Attend refinement sessions for the purpose of creating Jira stories for the AD team to deliver
Understand priority for delivery and drive agreement with Business and Technology
Conduct review sessions with subject matter experts (functional/technical) turning session feedback into groomed stories for Agile Development Delivery
Produce training materials (when necessary) and product documentation/slides to illustrate the value and scope of the delivery
Work closely with Product Owner and Business to prioritize business and information needs
Actively engage with domain experts across various business lines to understand and document business requirements for data and to integrate data with process flows
Align risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk
Qualification
Required
Minimum 6 years of related experience
Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
Demonstrate business analysis and/or process improvement skills necessary to provide business-engineering, analytical, and architectural services to transition business requirements into enterprise solutions
Experience working with data focused initiatives
Preferred
Expertise in enterprise data transformation programs is preferred
