Responsibilities

Develop and optimize financial reporting tools using Power BI, Power Automate, SQL, and other data platforms to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and usability

Automate recurring reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency across finance and business teams

Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, uncover trends, and address business questions as they arise

Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, operations, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights

Mentor and guide junior analysts by providing technical training, analytical support, and career development feedback

Ensure data integrity and governance by maintaining high standards for data quality, documentation, and compliance with internal controls

Assists with budget and forecast process

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance or other business related field required OR equivalent 4 years of progressive responsibility in financial analysis in real estate finance

4+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, reporting, or business intelligence, ideally within a fast-paced or data-driven environment

Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Power Automate, and SQL, with a strong track record of building automated workflows, dashboards, and data models that improve reporting accuracy and efficiency

Hands-on experience with financial systems and ERP platforms (e.g., Workday, PeopleSoft) and integrating data across multiple sources

Demonstrated ability to perform complex ad hoc analyses, synthesize large datasets, and present actionable insights to senior leadership

Deep knowledge of tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, and SQL, with the ability to design and implement scalable dashboards, automated workflows, and data pipelines

Familiarity with ERP and financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday

Strong ability to perform complex ad hoc analyses, interpret large datasets, and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders

Proven track record of identifying inefficiencies in financial workflows and implementing process improvements using modern analytics and automation tools

Demonstrated ability to mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on technical tools, analytical approaches, and professional development
