IMA Financial Group, Inc. is offering a summer internship opportunity for 2026 in their Diversified and Construction team. Interns will engage in various projects, support client and carrier needs, and participate in meetings while gaining valuable industry experience.

Responsibilities

Split time between the Diversified team and the Construction team to support a wide range of client and carrier needs

Participate in carrier meetings and client meetings to observe communication, gather information, and strengthen industry knowledge

Assist with Excel-based tasks, including updating auto lists and organizing data for internal use and client presentations

Create proposal materials by developing rough draft documents and assembling key data for review by the account team

Support the proposal-building process from initial data collection to preparing polished drafts for client delivery

Required

Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in a program related to one of our host departments (Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management and Insurance)

An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to problem-solve, think critically, and provide creative solutions

Preferred

Students anticipated to graduate in Spring 2026, December 2026, or Spring 2027

Interest in insurance-related roles; involvement in insurance clubs or Gamma Iota Sigma

Previous work or internship experience in a professional services or similar environment
