Software and Documentation Delivery Configuration and Data Management Lead

As the Software and Documentation Delivery Configuration and Data Management Lead, you will lead a remote team, develop and implement configuration management plans, and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Lead and coach a remote team of configuration and data management specialists
Develop and implement configuration management plans, policies, and procedures
Ensure accurate version control and configuration status accounting for all software and documentation items
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage the integration, verification, and delivery of software and documentation products
Establish and maintain configuration baselines and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to configuration management policies and procedures
Oversee the release and distribution process for software and documentation deliverables
Manage the change control process, including the evaluation, coordination, and implementation of changes
Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to team members on configuration and data management practices
Generate and maintain configuration management reports and metrics
Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve configuration and data management issues
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the remote team
Coordinate with the customer on process improvements
Qualification
Required
Requires a Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience)
Requires an additional 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of job-related experience
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
Proven experience in supervising and leading teams
Strong understanding of configuration management principles, standards, and best practices
Experience with configuration management tools and software
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to configuration and data management
Preferred

Commitment to ongoing professional development
Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success
Certification in Configuration Management (e.g., CMII, CMIIC, EIA-649, or equivalent)
Experience in a defense or aerospace environment
Knowledge of software development lifecycle processes
