They are seeking a Senior Software Developer who enjoys shaping systems, mentoring teammates, and improving how software gets built, while owning meaningful portions of the platform and collaborating closely with product and design teams.

Responsibilities

Own meaningful portions of the platform — from design through production support
Partner with architects and senior engineers to evolve system design and scalability
Build cloud-native services on AWS with a focus on reliability, security, and maintainability
Work across the stack (backend-heavy with frontend exposure) using JavaScript, Java, Python, Vue, and REST APIs
Help set engineering standards through thoughtful code reviews and technical guidance
Mentor engineers earlier in their careers and raise the overall quality bar
Collaborate closely with Product and Design to influence scope, tradeoffs, and delivery
Participate in Agile planning without heavy process or unnecessary ceremony

Qualification

Required

9–10+ years of professional software development experience
Strong backend engineering background with modern languages and APIs
Hands-on AWS experience building and operating production systems
AWS Developer Associate certification (required)
Experience contributing to architecture discussions, not just implementation
Comfort mentoring engineers and leading by example

Preferred

Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (Vue preferred; React/Angular welcome)
