Responsibilities
Responsible for various duties pertaining to information services with a specialty being in the clinical areas
Interpreting, analyzing, designing, modifying, and/or writing reports for clinical applications
Preparing and delivering computer and software training classes to assure proficiency for all users
Implementing clinical applications, tools, or processes that assist clinicians with the management of data
Serving as a liaison between IS and the end user
Performing or assisting in the performance of computer systems or network problem diagnosis
Utilizing skills in computer literacy, usage, and clinical software
Able to work independently and exercise sound judgment in determining computer/clinical-related problems
Utilizing excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
Coordinating several projects at a time
Able to review and evaluate requests for clinical system changes and enhancements
Qualification
Required
EDUCATION: Degree in nursing or healthcare-related field required or equivalent work experience (RN preferred)
EXPERIENCE: 5 years clinical experience
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Possess current license as an RN in Pennsylvania, or must pass nursing boards within 6 months of hire
BLS required or obtained within 1 month of hire
