Head of Business Development - Cell and Gene Therapy - Remote, US

Responsibilities
Sales lead generation and senior sales leader – visits customers and effectively pitches value proposition to drive sales
Identify, establish, cultivate long-term strategic relationships with potential clients
Develop manage and be accountable for the sales funnel and pipeline
Setup and host customer engagements with tech sales and application specialists
Generate sales insights and new business opportunities through utilization of the CRM together with our Marketeer
Develop and/or validate requirements through communication with clients
Develop relevant SOP‘s to guide a consistent approach amongst your team to meeting/exceeding our client expectations in sales processes (pre & post sale)
Close contracts with other internal groups, e.g. legal, contracts, finance
Provide sales updates to senior leadership – pipeline, projections, trends
Be at the forefront of CGT products, market and trends in quality control, and manufacturing technologies
Coach/train more junior members of staff to deliver on our mission
Forecast demand to manufactoringand supply chain
Forecasts sales and maintains revenue accountability of targets
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Biological Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field
5+ Years of sales experience in the Life Sciences or related industry
2+ Years of Leadership experience managing a sales team
5+ years' experience in Cell and Gene Therapy
5+ years of Business Development experience
Background and Cell and Gene therapy is required
Experience selling healthcare or biotech equipment is required
Willingness to travel up to 70% domestically

Master's Degree or PHD preferred
Hands-on experience in GMP research lab or transfusion lab preferred
