Supply Chain Inventory Management Advisor

Responsibilities
Facilitates strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize the supply chain, reduce costs, and mitigate risks, leveraging market intelligence to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
Leads cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex supply chain challenges, fostering collaboration, creativity, and a focus on delivering measurable business value
Conducts advanced data analysis and modeling to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels, utilizing cutting-edge tools and techniques to drive accuracy and efficiency
Negotiates strategic supplier contracts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives, while building strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key suppliers
Drives continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain, leveraging best practices, emerging technologies, and a keen focus on process optimization and cost reduction
Collaborates with senior leadership to develop and execute long-term supply chain and inventory management strategies and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market dynamics
Coaches other team members, fostering a culture of learning, growth, and professional development
Represents the organization at industry events and conferences, sharing best practices, staying current with emerging trends, and building relationships with key stakeholders and thought leaders
A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity
Qualification
Required
Seven or more years of experience in supply chain sourcing, supplier relationship management, and process optimization
Preferred
2 years of supervising experience
2 years of experience managing medium size projects/tasks to completion
Experience conducting supply vs demand analysis to find opportunities for improving efficiency and capabilities, and developing and implementing
Performs in-depth analysis to identify risk to inventory such as extended lead times, material shortages for new or obsolete SKU's that could impact client project demands, while working with key team partners on mitigation strategies to minimize the impacts to Materials & Supplies
Experience defining key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain to measure actual performance against goals
ERP/MRP expertise and experience (SAP, etc.)
